OBSESSION...and gluttony

Russell & Bromley is closing here. Which is genuinely causing me great distress. As such I have gone in to shoe overdrive. Just ordered the black brogue...but after seeing someone in the queue for coffee this morning looking completely marvellous in the brown loafer I am not sure that I have made the right choice. OK, so maybe I do have the loafer in black patent and do in fact, not wear it as often as I should. And I do live in my brogues, which is my vague justification for having  them in red, ivory and now black as well as a brown lace-up (not sure if it counts as a proper brogue without the pattern?)..but maybe I'd wear the brown loafer more than a black brogue?? I cannot think straight. I am also aware of the "berry" colour ballet pumps they mentioned would be coming in - and if they look anything like as good as I imagine then if I see them in London or Cambridge then naturally I shall be forced to purchase. But which is best, black brogue or or brown loafer?? Oh how I hate the "either or" situations in life. Life should be filled with more "fuck it, have both" situations...
